RōZY — Band Bio
RōZY is a Texas-based rock band rooted in authenticity, grit, and the kind of live energy that leaves audiences talking long after the lights go down. Driven by sisters Zoe and Molly Flores alongside lead guitarist Brandon Martinez and bassist Aris Weathersby, RōZY blends the power of alt-rock with modern indie pop-rock sensibilities and 80's guitar shreds to create a sound that is equal parts anthemic and deeply personal.
The story begins in January 2011, when Zoe (then 11) and Molly (then 10) picked up their instruments and never looked back. Within six months they were performing on stage, and by 2012 the sisters had already claimed a win at Wharton's Got Talent. In 2013, they were selected from a pool of 90 contestants to compete at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo's prestigious "Rodeo Rockstar" Competition — taking first place in their division. It was a sign of things to come.
As the years went on, the band's world continued to expand. They made an appearance on the Vans Warped Tour in 2015, performed at So What?! Music Fest, Buzzfest presented by IHeartRadio, WSL Super Girl Surf Pro, and the first-ever Houston Super Bowl LIVE. Their resume of support slots reads like a hard rock hall of fame — opening for Godsmack, Crown the Empire, Jake E. Lee (former guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne), ISSUES, Kings X, Stryper, Scott Stapp of Creed, Night Ranger, The Iron Maidens, Vixen, L.A. Guns, and many more. Brandon Martinez joined the fold in 2016, and the lineup was completed when Aris Weathersby stepped in on bass in 2023, bringing the band to its most powerful form yet.
Now, with their 2025 EP Welcome To The Show, RōZY have arrived at a defining moment. The four-track release showcases a band firing on all cylinders — Zoe's songwriting is sharper and more self-assured than ever, Brandon's lead guitar cuts with precision and swagger, Molly anchors every track with relentless, rock-solid drumming, and Aris holds the low end down with a groove that gives the whole record its backbone. Standout track "In The Middle" delivers one of the EP's most electrifying moments, as Zoe hands off her guitar to Aris and the two boys unleash dueling electrics — a raw, charged exchange that proves there's no shortage of firepower in this band.
Welcome To The Show is not just a title — it's a declaration. RōZY have put in the work, paid their dues on stages across Texas and the Southwest, and built something real. With an international tour to Japan on the horizon this fall, the world is about to find out what Texas already knows — RōZY is the real deal.
